The Drop-Inn
The Drop-Inn has reopened!
This program runs from 9am-2pm on Wednesdays in the Lower Hall
The Cummer Ave Drop-Inn serves the community by providing a safe, warm and friendly environment where guests have their basic needs met and receive assistance with other resources depending on their need. The Drop-Inn endeavours to assist those who are homeless and marginalized. We provide a continental breakfast and hot lunch, access to a phone, clothing closet, shower and haircuts.
We are working to re-establish our partnerships with various social service agencies that can assist guests, including: Ontario Works, Inner City Health, Community Care Access Centre, Willowdale Community Legal Services and Agincourt Community Services Association – Outreach Services.
Volunteers play a huge role in the success of the Drop-Inn, without their support and time the program could not continue.
We welcome your help at the Drop-Inn. If you would like to volunteer or make a donation to the Cummer Ave Drop-Inn, please contact the church office.
