Music
Cummer Avenue United Church enjoys a wonderful music ministry that is an integral part of the worship services each week. Direction of the program is led by Taylor Sullivan. A focal point is our choir members and soloists. There is an organ and piano to accompany a wide range of hymns and other musical compositions.
Our choir
The church choir consists of a group of volunteer singers, supported by professional section-leads. The choir sings classical and contemporary repertoire and provides strong musical leadership every Sunday.
The music is accompanied by a Casavant pipe organ, a grand piano and a wide variety of other musical instruments. Congregational singing includes a wide variety of hymns from Voices United, More Voices and other sources.
Guest instrumentalists are often included to help present a music program that is spiritually uplifting, diverse and representative of our global worshiping community.
UPCOMING SUNDAY MUSIC:
